There is something about being on safari in Africa that makes us feel more relaxed, more energised. Days spent in the bush, surrounded by wildlife, waking up with the dawn, sleeping under canvas and a crackling campfire. No clutter, no need for the outside world.

Andrea Manning

Andrea was born and raised in South Africa. Starting at Hotel School she worked in some wonderful properties across South Africa then set off to London to do more of the same. During this time she worked in sales and marketing for The Barbican Centre in London, Brocket Hall - an exclusive use stately home in Hertfordshire, England, amongst others. In 2010 she moved to Ireland to enjoy the 'simple country life'.

Andrea joined the Passage to Africa team in 2012 to assist Nicky Williams in the European office. She is delighted to rediscover her South African roots and be surrounded by 'home' - even if it's only virtual.
